The CJE de LaSalle’s primary mission is to support young people aged 12 to 35 in their social and professional integration.
Our goal is to help young people succeed in the labour market by offering a comprehensive range of free services based on a personalized, community-based approach tailored to each young person’s individual needs and circumstances.
Jeunes en mouvement vers l’emploi (JMVE) is a 22-week group program for young people aged 16 to 30, consisting of 10 weeks of workshops followed by 12 weeks of employment support.
Step by step, participants receive personalized guidance to successfully complete their journey and achieve their goal of finding and maintaining employment or returning to school.
It’s an opportunity to discover new paths.
This program is designed to help participants return to work or training through workshops, individual meetings, and an active job search.
It is offered to unemployed individuals aged 18 to 65 who are experiencing difficulties entering the labour market or maintaining employment.
Over the course of 12 weeks, participants support one another as they take on the sometimes complex challenge of finding their place in the professional world.
It is a genuine environment for learning, personal growth, and professional development for job seekers.

Créneau is an initiative of the Québec Youth Secretariat (Secrétariat à la jeunesse du Québec), delivered in partnership with the CJE network.
It is designed for young people aged 14 to 35 and provides support across several areas of their personal, social, and professional lives, helping them successfully transition into adulthood.
This program complements the services already provided by educational institutions, the health and social services network, and employment services.
L’École du Milieu is a Community School for young people aged 18 to 30 who have dropped out of school. It offers personalized instruction, support from dedicated professionals, and a wide range of activities designed to help students earn academic credits and build their self-esteem—valuable assets for continuing their education.

La Maison des entrepreneurs is a two-part initiative:
Individual support for entrepreneurs during the pre-start-up phase, along with referrals to appropriate resources based on their needs.
A business hub for social economy enterprises, providing office space and incubation services tailored to their specific needs.

A Youth Cooperative Service (CJS) is an educational initiative that introduces young people to collective entrepreneurship.
Over the course of a summer, young cooperative members launch their own worker cooperative and provide a variety of services, including small jobs, to the LaSalle community.
In addition to receiving training to successfully carry out their contracts and develop professional skills, participants discover and take part in the management of a business.
This project is also a powerful way for young people to discover their neighbourhood, understand its dynamics, and become more aware of the issues affecting their community.

The CAED is an entrepreneurship centre located within Cavelier-De LaSalle High School.
Its mission is to introduce students to entrepreneurship, cooperation, and community engagement, particularly by providing guidance and support in developing and carrying out projects, as well as through a variety of activities.
Each year, a student-led funding committee is also formed to support entrepreneurial projects proposed by students at the school.
The CAED provides personalized support to help students turn their entrepreneurial ideas and goals into reality.
Transitional Housing for Vulnerable Youth
We aim to develop temporary, safe, and supportive living environments for young people experiencing vulnerability, particularly those transitioning out of youth protection services (DPJ), by providing them with a period of stability and personalized support.
This support will help young people regain stability, develop greater independence, and build confidence before taking the next step toward permanent housing.
Community outreach is carried out in collaboration with the Maison des jeunes de LaSalle and Équipe Alentour.
The team travels throughout the community with a mobile unit—the Winnibago—to connect directly with young people experiencing precarious living conditions or homelessness.
Through a consistent presence and the distribution of food, the team builds trusting relationships, provides support tailored to individual needs, and connects young people with the appropriate community resources and services.
Our work experience program will provide participants with a real-world employment environment where they can learn, practice, and strengthen their professional skills.
Participants will have the opportunity to discover their strengths and gain practical work experience that is valued and recognized by employers.
